The British School of Gran Canaria periodically undergoes inspections by the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI), a body approved by the British Government and the Department for Education for inspecting schools in England and abroad, as a way of ensuring relevant standards are met by British Schools. Their reports are important for maintaining high standards with our school and is also a prerequisite for membership to the prestigious Council of British International Schools (COBIS).
The report is a way for us to improve but also a fine validation of the school and all those associated with it, in fields like:
-
The daily atmosphere of the school
-
English levels
-
The quality of teaching within the school
-
The quality of relationships
-
Pupils’ attainment
-
Students’ personal development
-
School leadership and management
